EM13407 - Hand held vision tool kit designed to inspect and document the leading edge radius of large 1st stage LPC fan blades after on-wing reconditioning. The OEM had produced tooling to dress the blade edge after wear and erosion disrupted the design contours.

The Edge Profiler inspected blade edge before and after the cutting operation. Typically used on-wing during overnight check the Edge Profiler provided 10X magnification of the blade edge with a laser line outlining the blade cross section. The kit included the inspection tool, DV recorder and LCD monitor packed in a small transit case.
