Description:

EM41351 - This camera system is used for observation of a stream of liquid steel as it exits a 170 T bottom pour ladle into a nitrogen purged vessel. The stream shape and dynamics were observed to improve the yield on the process.

The unit is water cooled, has gas purged optics and includes filters to optimize the view of white hot liquid steel. It observes the 1" diameter liquid stream from a 10" distance.
