Description:

EM10919 - The Video Inspection & Bore Examination System (VIBES®) is a cart based system. It is designed to carry out UV and White light inspections as related to Magnetic Particle (MT) and Fluorescent Penetrant Testing (FPI). Typical applications include large aircraft components, such as shafts, drums and spools from engines and landing gear.

The inspection boom has a diameter of 1.75-inches and a reach up to 8-feet. Elevation and insertion are controlled independently with manual hand wheels. Images are delivered to the included high-resolution monitor mounted on the heavy duty cart. Specialized filters and liquid light guides maximize UV transmission with peak output in the 365nm range.
